K2 atmitec successfully accomplishes the certification of IS K2 for the operating system Windows 7
The operating system Windows 7 has thus enlarged the family of operating systems that are directly supported by the Information System K2. From 19th October, 2009 all users and customers of IS K2 have an option within the scope of the service provided by the producer and authorized partners to obtain the version of IS K2 supporting the latest operating system from Microsoft before its official release.
As far as the actual certification process is concerned, the K2 atmitec director stated: “Windows 7 represents a new modern operating system, which can help the end customers to use the potential and functions of IS K2 more extensively and effectively. We have carried out the whole certification process in such a short time mainly with respect to the suggestions from the IS K2 customers, to whom this operating system has been a better alternative in comparison with the operating system Windows Vista.”
